Please follow the below steps to pay your property tax (holding tax) online in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. 1. Open the citizen services portal https://citizenservices.bhubaneswar.me/  2. If you have account, log in with your ID and password. If you are a first time user, create your account. 3. Click on "Property Tax Services". 4. Click on "Pay Property Tax". 5. Select the holding number from the drop down and click on "Search". If you don't know the holding number, please check your previous offline payment receipts. Otherwise, contact the BMC office. 6. In the next page, the total outstanding will appear as below. If the demand is there, you can pay the tax online. If you have already made the payment, the total outstanding will be zero. 7. Wondering how to obtain your property EC (Encumbrance Certificate) in Odisha? Recently I was also in the same state where I was trying to apply for the EC.  I was searching for the online option as everything is becoming digital now-a-days. While searching in the google, I came across the website https://www.igrodisha.gov.in/.  In this website, you can apply for the online EC, the link is marked in red circle as above. You need to create your user ID and password, log in, navigate to the tile "Encumbrance Certificate" and then apply for the EC by providing all the information as needed. That's what I also did. After filling the necessary details, I paid the required fee (Rs. 1750/- approx.) via online mode. In the final confirmation page, it displayed the required message that my application was submitted.
